Wen's visit deepens mutual trust, co-op among East Asian countries
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao paid an official visit to Singapore last Sunday and later attended a series of important regional meetings there, including the ASEAN plus Three summit, the East Asia summit and the trilateral meeting of the leaders of China, Japan and South Korea.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived in Beijing on Wednesday night, concluding an official visit to Singaporeand a series of meetings there. The meetings include the 11th ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) plus Three (China, Japan and the Republic of Korea(ROK)) summit, the 11th China-ASEAN summit, and the third east Asian regional summit.
Climate change tops Wen's address
n said climate change is "ultimately a development issue" and dismissed the notions of tackling climate change at the expense of economic growth or pursuing economic growth with no regard to climate change.
Chinese premier puts forward five-point proposal on 10+3 cooperation
The Chinese premier said in his speech at the 11th ASEAN Plus Three Summit that all the 13 countries should respect each other, promote common development and coordinate economic and social development and be inclusive and explore a model of development that suits the region.
