BEIJING, April 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 1 km NNE of Brookdale, California at 0841 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 9.0 km, was initially determined to be at 37.12 degrees north latitude and 122.10 degrees west longitude. ■
