NEW YORK, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- Fifteen people, including three firefighters, were injured after a high-speed passenger train collided on Saturday with a fire truck in Florida's downtown Delray Beach, according to local reports.
The accident happened around 10:45 a.m. local time (15:45 GMT) when the fire truck drove around rail crossing arms and into the tracks after waiting for another train to pass, said the reports.
The collision destroyed the front of the train, while the fire truck's ladder was ripped off and thrown several yards away into a grassy area, the reports added.
