NEW YORK, June 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted 47 km E of Kainantu, Papua New Guinea, at 20:49:58 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 103.7 km, was initially determined to be at 6.34 degrees south latitude and 146.29 degrees east longitude. ■
