MINSK, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- The Belarusian economy increased by 4 percent in 2024, the country's Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said on Friday while summing up the economy's results of the year.
Belarus' GDP increased by 4 percent, with the initial target being 3.8 percent, the official said.
The GDP volume in current prices amounted to 246.6 billion rubles, Belarusian statistical committee said. The GDP deflator index in 2024 compared to the previous year amounted to 108.8 percent.
Golovchenko named industry as the main driver of Belarusian economic growth in 2024. ■
