ISLAMABAD, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk is expected to arrive in Pakistan on Wednesday for a two-day official visit, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan said on Tuesday.
Accompanied by a high-level delegation, the Russian deputy prime minister will be visiting Pakistan on Sept. 18-19, said the foreign ministry statement.
During the visit, Overchuk will hold meetings with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, it added.
The foreign ministry said that Pakistan and Russia enjoy cordial relations based on goodwill, amity and trust, which is reflected in the multi-faceted bilateral cooperation including trade, energy and connectivity. ■
