BEIJING, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra will pay an official visit to China from Wednesday to Saturday at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
Paetongtarn was born in August 1986. In October 2023, she was elected leader of the Pheu Thai Party. In August 2024, she became the 31st prime minister of Thailand.
The upcoming visit to China will be her first in her capacity as Thai prime minister. ■
