NEW YORK, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted Halmahera, Indonesia at 21:35:53 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 118.8 km, was initially determined to be at 2.99 degrees north latitude and 128.16 degrees east longitude. ■
