DHAKA, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh's largest annual book fair kicked off in the capital of Dhaka on Saturday.
Bangladeshi interim government's Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus inaugurated the month-long book fair, which brings together many readers and writers to celebrate the event for literature.
Nearly 1,000 stalls have been allotted to over 700 publishing houses in this year's book fair. Many new books are published every year during the mega book fair.
Like previous years, there will be cultural programs and month-long seminars on the sidelines of the fair. ■
