NEW DELHI, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- At least five persons died and around 15 were injured when an under-construction slab inside a cement factory collapsed in India's central state of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, confirmed a local police officer.
The mishap occurred in the Amaanganj town of the state's Panna area, he added.
All the victims were laborers working at the construction site. Those injured were rushed to a local hospital.
Rescue work was continuing at the spot to bring out those still buried under the debris, added the officer. ■
