SEOUL, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's table tennis legend Ryu Seung-min was elected as president of the country's top sports body Korean Sport & Olympic Committee here on Tuesday.
The 2004 Athens Olympics men's singles gold medalist has served as president of the South Korea Table Tennis Association and as an ITTF Executive Board member.
His distinguished career also includes serving as a member of the International Olympic Committee from 2016 to 2024. ■
