NEW YORK, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Kermadec Islands, New Zealand at 20:57:06 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.95 degrees south latitude and 177.63 degrees west longitude. ■
