BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- A Filipino food festival kicked off on Friday and will run until Dec. 7, local media reported.
According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, the festival showcases a diverse buffet of traditional Filipino dishes, from hearty balbacua to the comforting sweetness of halo-halo.
"We are delighted to present Barrio Fiesta and invite food enthusiasts as well as the local community to join us, where every bite tells a story and every moment is a celebration," said Miriam Wolber, general manager of the Radisson Hotel in Brunei. ■
