KABUL, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- A three-day exhibition of local products kicked off Monday in Sari Pul province, northern Afghanistan, seeking to generate local market opportunities and promote the use of domestically produced goods over imported ones.
Throughout the event set to conclude on Wednesday evening, local entrepreneurs and farmers put on display a wide range of goods at 40 booths, featuring agricultural, industrial, and commercial products, the Afghan Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a statement on Tuesday.
In October, Afghan authorities organized similar local product fairs in the provinces of Helmand in the south, Balkh in the north, and Kunar and Khost in the east. ■
