TASHKENT, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Wednesday signed a presidential decree appointing Abdulla Aripov as the Central Asian country's prime minister.
According to the decree published by the Uzbek President's press service, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis (the lower house of parliament) approved Aripov's nomination as prime minister following the president's proposal.
Aripov has been serving as the prime minister since December 2016. ■
