NEW DELHI, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Around 38 people were injured, some seriously, when three vehicles, including a private bus, collided on a highway in India's western state of Gujarat on Saturday, a local police said over phone.
The accident occurred near Ambaji area in the state's Banaskantha district. The bus overturned as a result of the collision, while another vehicle fell into a ditch by the roadside.
"The injured were admitted to a local hospital in Danta area. Those who were critically injured have been referred to a government hospital in nearby Palanpur area. Most of the injured were discharged after receiving the necessary medical treatment," police said. ■
