HONG KONG, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted the New Ireland Region, Papua New Guinea at 14:36:20 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 4.81 degrees south latitude and 153.30 degrees east longitude. ■
