HANOI, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam posted a foreign trade record of 647.87 billion U.S. dollars in the first 10 months of this year, up 15.8 percent year-on-year with a trade surplus of 23.31 billion dollars, the General Statistics Office said on Wednesday.
Specifically, export revenue during the cited period stood at 335.59 billion dollars, up 14.9 percent, while import revenue surged 16.9 percent year-on-year to 312.28 billion dollars.
During the cited period, 31 Vietnamese products reported an export revenue of over 1 billion dollars, accounting for 92.6 percent of total revenues.
The export revenue of Vietnam's industrial processing group reached 295.23 billion dollars from January to October, accounting for 88 percent of the total, according to the report. ■
