NEW DELHI, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- India's defense ministry on Friday said the body of a missing Indian Coast Guard (ICG) pilot was recovered over a month after the chopper he was flying crashed into the sea.
According to defense officials, the body was retrieved about 55 km southwest off the coast of Porbandar.
The helicopter fell into the Arabian Sea last month, and ICG and the Indian navy had launched a massive search and rescue operation for the missing pilot.
One crew member on the chopper was rescued while the bodies of three others were recovered on Sept. 3. ■
