SEOUL, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Three men were killed in what is believed to be an arson attack at an inn in South Korea's North Chungcheong province, Yonhap news agency reported Saturday.
A fire broke out at the inn at about 1:44 a.m. local time (1644 GMT Friday), killing three men presumed to be long-term guests. The fire was extinguished in about an hour.
The three men were found in a room and a corridor on the second floor and a room on the third floor.
Evidence was found that someone used a newspaper to light it on the entrance and the stairs.
The police were investigating a man in his 40s who had stayed at the inn as a suspect. ■
