HONG KONG, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted Tonga Islands at 03:29 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 155.2 km, was initially determined to be at 21.77 degrees south latitude and 175.87 degrees west longitude. ■
