SYDNEY, April 20 (Xinhua) -- A fatal crash between a Mazda sedan and a bus caused one dead and over 20 injured in Dubbo, a city in the Orana Region of New South Wales (NSW), Australia, on Saturday morning, the NSW Police Force said in a statement.
The police said officers attempted to stop the sedan at about 9:15 a.m. local time when patrolling the Mitchell Highway.

A number of the 26 passengers on board the bus were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries. Eight people were taken to hospital in a stable condition.
