HONG KONG, May 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 79 km ESE of Katsuren-haebaru, Japan at 03:22:09 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.813 km, was initially determined to be at 26.0075 degrees north latitude and 128.5838 degrees east longitude. ■
