HONG KONG, May 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 80 km ESE of Katsuren-haebaru, Japan at 0759 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 25.9356 degrees north latitude and 128.5466 degrees east longitude. ■
