NEW DELHI, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- At least five people died and two others injured when a car collided with a bus coming from the opposite direction in India's western state Rajasthan on Saturday, confirmed a local police officer.
The road mishap occurred in Rajasthan's Nagaur district. Among the dead were an elderly woman and a young boy.
According to local media reports, the accident occurred in the morning due to dense fog.
The ill-fated car was on its way to Jodhpur from Nagaur while the bus was going towards Bikaner.
The two injured were admitted to a local hospital. ■
