BISSAU, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Bissau-Guinean Prime Minister Rui Duarte de Barros on Friday launched a national strategy for digital transformation in Bissau, the capital of Guinea-Bissau, which aims to improve the country's economic development, data management, governance and public services.
"This strategy is about setting a clear path for Guinea-Bissau to become a more digital, inclusive and prosperous country," Barros said at the launch of the National Strategy for Digital Transformation.
"Our goal is ambitious and achievable because we want technology to be a tool for development in all sectors, including health, education, agriculture, transportation, etc.," he said. ■
