NAIROBI, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Ethiopia at 0741 GMT on Thursday, according to the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ).
The epicenter of the quake, with a depth of 10 km, was initially identified as at 9.31 degrees north latitude and 40.06 degrees east longitude. ■
