American speed climber Emma Hunt has been scaling walls since she was five, but today her races are over in a matter of seconds.
Having specialized in speed climbing as a teenager, Hunt has broken the six-second barrier with a time of 5.99 seconds, establishing herself among the world's fastest female climbers.
On the wall, she thrives on competition and the challenge of pushing her limits. Away from climbing, the university graduate enjoys baking and hopes to pursue a career in healthcare.
For Hunt, speed climbing is a constant pursuit of improvement, both as an athlete and as a person.
