BISHKEK, July 27 (Xinhua) -- A copyright licensing agreement for the Kyrgyz edition of the first volume of "China's Governance Under Xi Jinping's Leadership" was exchanged in Bishkek on Monday during the 2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media and Think Tank Summit.
The agreement was exchanged between Xinhua Publishing House and Osoo JenVen, a Kyrgyz publishing house.
Compiled by Xinhua News Agency, the first volume of "China's Governance Under Xi Jinping's Leadership" features 26 in-depth Xinhua reports and 41 news photographs, vividly portraying the great endeavors led by Chinese President Xi Jinping in advancing China's development and demonstrating the powerful truth and practical strength of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
Upon publication, the Kyrgyz edition will provide readers in Kyrgyzstan with a comprehensive introduction to the major achievements and governance practices of the Communist Party of China Central Committee with Xi at its core.
It will also showcase the broad vision and statesmanship of Xi as the leader of a major political party in a major country, while continuing to strengthen the public support underpinning China-Kyrgyzstan friendship.
Osoo JenVen, the Kyrgyz publishing house of the book, is a key institution for publishing cooperation with China in Kyrgyzstan. It has long participated in projects involving the mutual translation of classic works, copyright exchanges and people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries, and possesses well-established local translation, editing and distribution capabilities.
Following the launches of the English, Arabic and Russian editions, as well as the signing of the copyright licensing agreement for the Greek edition, the latest exchange in Kyrgyzstan helps to further present China's development in the new era and share China's governance experience with the world. ■
