BEIJING, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Thursday that the UN Security Council should avoid actions that escalate confrontation and must not legitimize any unauthorized military operations.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks in a phone conversation with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. ■
