KABUL, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and three others injured when the roof of a mud house collapsed recently in southern Afghanistan's Helmand province, the provincial police office said in a statement late Saturday.
The incident occurred on the outskirts of Musa Qala district, where three members of the same family died at the scene, and three others were injured. The injured were rushed to a nearby health facility for treatment, according to the statement.
Traditional mud-brick homes, common in Afghanistan's rural and remote areas, remain vulnerable to collapse, often resulting in tragic loss of life and significant property damage. ■
