NEW DELHI, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- More than a day after a technical glitch led to delays of hundreds of flights at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, officials at the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said on Saturday that all flight operations at the airport were running normally.

The technical glitch in the Automatic Message Switching System had temporarily affected the processing of flight plan messages and forced air traffic controllers to process flight plans manually. It was resolved by the Airports Authority of India on Friday night.

Reportedly, about 800 flights were delayed at the airport after the technical glitch, disrupting flight planning and causing a ripple effect across some airports.
