VIENTIANE, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Lao police in Tonpheung district in northern Laos' Bokeo province seized more than 20 million amphetamine pills stashed in a 10-wheeler truck that was traveling through the district on Monday.
A search of the truck revealed 101 bags containing 20,200,000 amphetamine pills, with a combined weight of more than 2 kg, Lao National Radio reported on Tuesday.
Police investigating the case are trying to determine the source of the drugs and identify relevant individuals. ■
