NEW DELHI, April 16 (Xinhua) -- At least three workers were killed and two others injured when a steel storage unit for pulses collapsed on them inside a mill in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, police said Wednesday.
The incident took place on Tuesday at the Manorma Jain Dal Mill in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Yavatmal, about 660 km northeast of Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra.
Many factory owners as well as laborers in India often ignore safety standards during working hours, according to local media. ■
