NEW YORK, April 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted Iceland region at 16:54:53 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 63.92 degrees north latitude and 22.53 degrees west longitude. ■
