ULAN BATOR, March 12 (Xinhua) -- At least six people were killed and two others injured after two vehicles collided on Tuesday night in central Mongolia, according to the country's National Police Agency (NPA) on Wednesday.
The accident occurred at around 7:00 p.m. on a highway in Undurshireet Soum (administrative subdivision) of Tuv province in Mongolia when an ambulance carrying five patients collided with a passenger bus traveling from Ulan Bator to the western Mongolian province of Zavkhan, the NPA said in a statement, adding that the injured people were hospitalized.
The decedents included the ambulance driver and five patients, including two children.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. ■
