HONG KONG, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted Minahassa Peninsula, Sulawesi in Indonesia at 01:08:55 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 0.38 degrees north latitude and 124.98 degrees east longitude. ■
