KATHMANDU, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- The pledged foreign direct investments into Nepal grew by 18.34 percent during the first seven months of the current 2024-25 fiscal year.
The figure jumped to 193.01 million U.S. dollars by mid-February, up from 163.12 million dollars during the same period of 2023-24, according to the Department of Industry.
The amount was pledged for 386 projects in tourism, manufacturing, service and information technology, among others. ■
