Hu Dongfang, a deputy to the National People's Congress (NPC), is the deputy chief engineer of Zhejiang Risesun Science and Technology Co., Ltd., located in Wenzhou City. He focuses on the research and development of smart meters and charging piles, and has obtained 24 authorized invention patents. From an ordinary worker to a well-known mold designer in the industry, Hu attributed his experience to tireless research and innovation.
In order to fulfill his responsibilities as a NPC deputy, Hu visited a number of specialized and innovative enterprises, listened to the voices of front-line workers, and investigated the current development and needs of the industry. He also went deep into the group of couriers and takeaway riders to understand what they thought and needed.
For the upcoming third session of the 14th NPC, Hu will focus on issues such as improving the technological innovation level of enterprises, promoting the application of scientific and technological achievements, and protecting the rights and interests of workers in new employment forms.
