BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- Lautaro di Lollo struck late as Boca Juniors continued their resurgent form with a 1-0 away win over Banfield in Argentina's Primera Division Apertura tournament on Friday.
The 20-year-old defender broke the deadlock with a glancing header following a Carlos Palacios corner four minutes from time.
The visitors were forced to endure a nervous final few minutes after Ayrton Costa was sent off for a second bad foul.
But the Buenos Aires giants held their nerve to secure their third win in four league outings.
Fernando Gago's men are now third in the 15-team Group A standings, behind leaders Estudiantes and second-placed Argentinos Juniors.
"In the first half we had time on the ball, and we threatened to hurt them, but we lacked that final pass," Gago said. "In the second half, we veered away from our game plan, but thankfully we were snatched a positive result." ■
