BEIJING, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Arman Kyrykbayev, head of the communications department of the Executive Office of the President of Kazakhstan, in Beijing on Friday.
The two sides exchanged views on expanding media cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.
Noting that China and Kazakhstan are good neighbors, they said media organizations of the two countries should promote cooperation in the application of new media and new technologies, as well as in personnel exchanges, strengthen coordination and cooperation under the frameworks of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization media and think tank forum and the China-Central Asia news agency forum, and make new contributions to building the China-Kazakhstan community with a shared future. ■
