MANILA, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and a 14-year-old boy was severely injured after a tricycle collided with a ten-wheeler truck in Zamboanga del Norte province in the southern Philippines on Wednesday, police said.
The accident happened on Wednesday morning in Dipolog City as two students and the driver of the tricycle died at the scene.
Police are investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
A tricycle is a three-wheeled vehicle serving as a typical means of public and private transport in the Philippines. ■
