Of the freed prisoners, 42 were from the West Bank, three from Jerusalem, and 27 from the Gaza Strip, all serving life sentences or lengthy terms. Additionally, 111 prisoners were arrested in the Gaza Strip after Hamas' surprise attack on southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, the Commission of Detainees' Affairs said in a press statement. 29 people remain missing after a landslide in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Saturday, according to a press conference held early Sunday morning.
The number of the missing people is still being verified.
As of now, the landslide is still ongoing.
