HONG KONG, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted south of the Fiji Islands at 1027 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 59.2 km, was initially determined to be at 23.92 degrees south latitude and 176.14 degrees west longitude. ■
