Oman's oil exports reach 308.42 mln barrels in 2024

MUSCAT, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Oman's oil exports reached approximately 308.42 million barrels in 2024, with an average price of 81.2 U.S. dollars per barrel, according to statistics released by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) on Saturday.

Exports accounted for 84.9 percent of the country's total oil production, which stood at 363.28 million barrels for the year. Crude oil production declined by 6.5 percent to approximately 278.19 million barrels, while condensate production reached 85.26 million barrels. As of December 2024, the country's average daily oil output was 992,600 barrels.

According to NCSI, China remained the largest importer of Omani oil, with imports totaling 289.21 million barrels, a 1.3 percent increase from 2023. South Korea followed with 5.76 million barrels, while Japan and India imported 5.65 million and 3.40 million barrels, respectively.
