NEW YORK, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Ecuador at 23:02:31 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 0.91 degrees south latitude and 77.72 degrees west longitude. ■
