MINSK, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- The main voting day for the Belarusian presidential election kicked off on Sunday.
The polling stations opened at 8:00 a.m. local time (0500 GMT) and will close at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT). Five candidates, including incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko, have been registered for the presidential election. ■
