KATHMANDU, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Nepal's international trade grew significantly in the first half of the 2024-25 fiscal year amid soaring exports and imports, the Department of Customs said on Monday.
The imports increased by 7.06 percent to 5.93 billion U.S. dollars by mid-January, while the exports jumped by 31.78 percent.
Nepal exported merchandise worth 712.35 million dollars during the period, the department said. ■
