MIES, Switzerland, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- FIBA on Tuesday announced the 15 host cities for the 2025 3x3 World Tour.
The 14th edition of the event will get underway in Utsunomiya, Japan, on April 26-27 for the fourth consecutive year. Familiar cities like Hong Kong, Amsterdam and Abu Dhabi are on the list, while Austria's Vienna will host the event for the first time in 2025.
"We are incredibly excited to unveil this line-up of cities that make up our 2025 FIBA 3x3 World Tour schedule," said FIBA 3x3 Managing Director Alex Sanchez. "Thanks to our long-standing relationships, we know that we can count on these world-class cities to showcase the fast pace of 3x3 basketball in downtown locations and bring a sports festival atmosphere to all our fans. We look forward to building on the landmark year of 2024 and cementing our position as the world's fastest growing urban sport."
The World Tour Final will be held in Manama, Bahrain, on November 21-22.
