NEW DELHI, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and five others injured after a boiler exploded inside a steel factory in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, police said Thursday.
The explosion took place Wednesday night inside the factory in Tirupati district, about 760 km southwest of Vishakhapatnam, the main city of Andhra Pradesh.
Police registered a case and ordered an investigation to determine the cause of the explosion. ■
